He created the Facial Rotation Course, equipping practitioners with tools to recognize and treat facial rotation patterns and related concepts such as Facial Facets, Cranio-Caudal Photography, and Asymmetry Perception Thresholds.

Academic & Professional Background
Dr. Erik Koppert is a Melbourne (Australia)-based General and Cosmetic Surgeon, internationally recognized for his innovation and expertise. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands), completed his surgical training at the University of British Columbia (Canada), and holds fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
Early in his career, Dr. Koppert pioneered the development of an artificial heart for newborns at the University of Utah, securing NIH funding as Principal Investigator and a U.S. Patent for his design. He later earned a second U.S. Patent for an advanced search engine interface.
He has held multiple academic and leadership roles, including:
